TRAUMA HEALING- Somatic Experiencing

Somatic Experiencing (S.E.) is a body-awareness approach to trauma healing, which works with the nervous system to restore clients resiliency and innate capacity to heal traumatic symptoms. Working with the physiology of Fight, Flight and Freeze, clients learn to safely navigate, release, and renegotiate survival patterns that lie at the heart of traumatic symptoms.

S.E. is great for shock-trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, car-accidents, victims or witnesses of violence, falls, migraines, pre/post-operation, fibromyalgia, chronic-fatigue, autoimmune disorders: any time there is “too much, too fast”  or “overwhelm” to the system.

S.E. can be done verbally or in combination with bodywork.
